Rules

• Must be a Registered User of Contested Art.
• Must agree to the Contested Art Terms of Use and the Rules of this contest.
• Image must be YOURS.  Period.
• Image must be a Nature related Photograph.  No Digital work will be accepted in this contest.
• File must be smaller than 1.5 MB in size.
• Winner temporarily releases images for spread in Indie Talent Magazine.

Prizes

The Image with the highest User Rating will be awarded the following:

• Full Page Spread in Indie Talent Magazine.  This page will showcase you and the winning image with the ability to link to your homepage or other personal website.
• A spot in our Winners Gallery.

Submission Details and FAQ’s

(Q) Wait a minute!  I want to submit a piece into this contest, but it is already being displayed in the Open Gallery!

(A) That’s OK.  Just resubmit your image into this contest and clarify in the “Details” box that it is already in the Open Gallery.  We will take care of the rest.

(Q) Why can’t I submit more than 1 piece?

(A) Because we want your very best work and if we received too many art pieces our users would never be able to rate them all.  There will be other contests to submit your work into.

(Q) Does image quality matter?  What should the DPI be?

(A) Image quality is very important.  Take time to properly transfer your work to a digital copy.  If the image quality is too poor we will be forced to deny entry.

(Q) Who decides the winner?

(A) The website users decide through their voting.
