A portrait of Avril Lavigne. It took me 7 days to draw and complete this pencil shading work. My favorite part of the sketch is the eyes and the lips. They are so deep and the lips so natural and beautiful. This is my best work as yet.

Very nice work!

i have a question for you, have you or would you ever consider painting with oils acrylic ……….?
id like to see some of your drawings as paintings in color.

I used to paint with crayons, poster water based colors and water colors. But not as well as i use my pencil though. It’s mostly very amateur. Have I? No, i have not even seen what they look like, they’re kinda costly right? And I don’t know how to use them. Would I? Yes, certainly. I saw Johannes Vermeer’s paintings on the web and loved them and wanted to recreate them badly.
Also, I would like to make the point that I am a very busy student of Engineering. So, some things which require a lot of effort are not possible for me. Pencil sketching is very destressing for me, and that is mainly why i do it. Any advice from you is seriously welcome!
