Artist Statement:

It’s a photography of a cute cow with a slightly sad/ sentimental look. What’s Behind the Work? There is not much to say; as with most nature photos one just goes outside; explore the fields for interesting motives and once one find it the camera is used. It’s fun — there is really no deeper meaning. That’s all. :)

Artist Statement:

“Sometimes you can see beyond the horizon, but you cant see the path. Sometimes you can see window of opportunity, but the sight is blurry. Sometimes you can see your future unraveling, but you can’t walk away from the present. You have the wings to fly, but there is something holding you back. It’s the heavy, iron clad bars of normalcy and stability. Find the courage to jump.”

Night Blooming Cactus

Artist Statement:

Night Blooming Cactus – Acrylic on a 3 ft. sq. gallery wrapped canvas. Each petal has a thick edge of paint giving them a 3-D effect. The center of the flowers are heavy with texture all on a black background. Bright bold colors makes this a beauty. I have a similar smaller painting, 9 x 12, called Night Blooming Cacti on canvas board.
