24×24x2.37″, Interconnections is a mixed media painting on deep profile Gallery wrapped canvas. Top layer is Red and Silver enamel Drip painting. Beyond that is a layer of vibrant colored abstract squares painted in oil.

This painting was created in 2008 and is part of my on going series of work. This series is dealing with the loss of the American manufacturing industry and the impact that it has on the US as a nation and on the individuals who have lost there jobs.

Night Blooming Cactus – Acrylic on a 3 ft. sq. gallery wrapped canvas. Each petal has a thick edge of paint giving them a 3-D effect. The center of the flowers are heavy with texture all on a black background. Bright bold colors makes this a beauty. I have a similar smaller painting, 9 x 12, called Night Blooming Cacti on canvas board.

I deal with boundaries. My work is loose/mature drawing choices. Sometimes I drip onto the canvas or use a brush. This piece was dripped.
